Have you ever ridden on a stair truck on a runway? Or maybe tested car's maximum speed inside a working airport?
Sounds unreal, but that's exactly what was happening at Tashkent Islam Karimov International Airport on 12th of April.
Press service of Uzbekistan Airports invited spotters to test runway after an overhaul (which, by the way, lasted for just over half-year) to show that newly opened 08L-26R is almost flawless.
We, and also crew and passengers of B788 Dreamliner UK78704 on flight HY334 Dubai(DXB)-Tashkent(TAS), that landed shortly after we vacated the runway, can definitely confirm it!
