A few days before the 35th Independence anniversary of the country and 28 August during the festive event attended by the President six Su-25BMs modernized by the Chirchiq Aviation Repair Plant in a stunning turn over New Tashkent painted the sky into the colors of the national flag. While the Head of State officially announced the delivery of new J-10CE fighters to the Uzbekistan Air Force, members of our spotting community were busy capturing the flyover so you could enjoy those beautiful shots.
It is important to mention that those photographs would not be possible without the direct involvement of the Air Force command, who do not just support spotters verbally, but actually offered much help that day and once again confirmed their friendly attitude towards aviation enthusiasts.

Main difference of modernized Su-25BM form the base model is a modern "glass" cockpit with integrated support of cutting-edge Lizrd-3 laser guidance complex produced by Israeli Elbit Systems, which substantially expands combat capabilities of this type, including use of precise American-built Mk82 bombs.
J-10CE is an export variant of light multipurpose 4.5th generation fighter jet, which is produced by Chengdu Aircraft Industry. Its flight performance characteristics and maneuverability are comparable to American F-16. The aircraft has a practical ceiling of 18000m, max speed up to 2.0М, as well as 11 mounting points capable of carrying 700kg of armament.
